DNV Council confirms Handsworth ATF project will proceed

A number of Handsworth Turf and Track advocates from this group attended the DNV Council Workshop on Oct 29th.

During the workshop, council agreed that the Handsworth ATF project WILL proceed, identifying it as a council priority.

The groundswell of support from the community, both via the District Budget Survey in September 2024, and the 3 petitions signed in 2019, 2022 and 2024 (this petition) were contributors to this success. 

Information-finding and advocacy for the running track continue.
