I am a deeply concerned resident of Parramatta, NSW, Australia. The impending closure of Parramatta PCYC (Police Citizens Youth Clubs) is not just a personal issue to me but one that affects our entire community. 

PCYC NSW is a charity empowering young people to survive, and thrive, in partnership with the Police and the community and has been part of Parramatta since the 1960’s

PCYC Parramatta has an amazing gym facility and a strong community ethos that makes it a great place to be for young people and adults alike. For children, offering a range of activities and quality programs. 

Parramatta PCYC has been an integral part of our community for years, fostering positive relationships between police and youth while promoting health and wellbeing. It's more than just a club; it's a place where friendships are formed, skills are honed, and lives are positively impacted.

We urge the relevant authorities to reconsider this decision. Let us keep Parramatta PCYC open for the benefit of all current members as well as future generations who will undoubtedly reap its rewards too.
