A HUGE THANK YOU TO MORE THAN 2,400 PETITION SUPPORTERS!

On Wednesday, September 16th, the Cochrane Planning Commission unanimously refused Heidelberg’s application for a concrete batch plant at the Robinson gravel pit.

For more than two years, people across Cochrane signed this petition, wrote letters, attended meetings, asked questions, shared information and continued to ask that this proposal receive careful scrutiny.

More than 200 people came to the RancheHouse for Wednesday’s meeting.
Your involvement mattered.

We are waiting for the Commission’s formal written reasons, and we know this may not be the end of the process. Heidelberg could appeal, revise the proposal and reapply, or decide not to pursue the plant at this location. We will continue to watch closely and keep you informed.
