Thank you for your continued incredible support. I am writing today with a major and deeply concerning breakthrough in our campaign against the mast at Sketchley Hill Primary School.

Following the council's dismissal of our complaints, I submitted a Freedom of Information (FOI) request to the Menphys Nursery, which provides specialist education for children with complex needs and is located right next to the mast.

In their formal planning application to the council, the developer, Cornerstone, stated as a matter of fact that they had consulted the nursery manager before submitting their plans.

The Headteacher of the Menphys Nursery has now responded formally to our FOI request, confirming in writing that "we have not received any communication from Cornerstone, WHP Telecoms, or any associated agents" regarding the mast.

This proves that the prior approval for this mast was granted based on an application containing a material falsehood about consulting the most vulnerable group at the site.

This comes on top of the other serious procedural failures we have already documented, including the council's report containing a factual error about the Parish Council's objection and the fundamentally unfair consultation held during the summer holidays.

Our Immediate Actions

Based on this new, irrefutable evidence, we have taken immediate action:

We are sending a final, definitive letter to Cornerstone, presenting them with this proof of a misleading application and formally demanding they deactivate the mast immediately.

We are now submitting our complete, evidence-based case file, with this new evidence at its core, to the Local Government Ombudsman to seek a formal finding of maladministration against the council.
