Hello All
I am writing to let you know that I have re-opened the Petition.
Unfortunately it seems from my e-Mail inbox I have received no response to the e-mail I sent to Great Western Railway’s Managing Director Mark Hopwood and their Accessibility Manager Tom Law on Tuesday 2nd December requesting a date I can hand deliver the petition (or if they won’t allow me to hand deliver it what other method of delivery GWR will accept).
I’m worried that GWR may be ignoring me but I don’t want to jump to conclusions. Obviously there may be a reasonable reason for me not having a response from them eg perhaps for some reason they haven’t received my e-mail or they have tried to respond but for some technical reason the response has not reached me. As I’m visually impaired I’m guessing there is also the chance I’ve missed the response in my inbox and if this is the case I apologise to GWR but I have checked through my inbox a number of times. I will chase on Tuesday if I still haven’t heard anything as it will then be two weeks since I e-mailed them. Meanwhile the petition will remain open for now and I’ll make sure I share if there is any update.
Yesterday I posted a very small Christmas gift to each of the two members of staff who GWR employ to work at Yeovil Pen Mill station. I have done this because I feel it is only right to thank them for the assistance they provided me with earlier in the year when I was using Yeovil Pen Mill station to travel. However I want to be extremely clear that my concerns regarding staffing at the station remain the same as when I started this petition.
I hope you are all well and incase I don’t have another update to provide before Christmas I would like to take this opportunity to again thank you all so much for your support and wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Take care and Best Wishes
Kath
