Hello All

A big thank you to everyone who has signed the Petition so far.

I am pleased to announce that I will be holding a Drop In Petition Signing Session between 1pm to 4pm on Saturday 18th October. This will be held at The Talbot Rooms, Birchfield Community Centre, Birchfield Road, Yeovil, Somerset, BA21 5RL.

I am hoping that the Drop In Petition Signing Session will give those who aren’t online or who prefer to sign offline a chance to sign. Also given my visual impairment I am hoping doing things this way will be easier for me rather than trying to go out and about to collect signatures. I hope the public will understand and support.

The Petition currently has 73 signatures which is a great start but I obviously need to get more.  I think it is likely I need to get at least 100 signatures before GWR will even consider having a look at this so that is my goal for now and hopefully it is within our reach.

Please can I ask you All to do one of the following if you haven’t already:

Share the Petition with someone you know

Share the Petition once on your social media

Share the information about the Drop In Petition Signing Session with one other person or on your social media 

I am struggling to get news out to the local Community about the Petition and the Drop In Petition Signing Session. I have posted about it on Twitter but am not on Facebook. I would be really grateful if anyone could put it on Facebook.

Finally if anyone knows of any notice boards in Yeovil where I could advertise the Petition/Drop In Petition Signing Session or any businesses which might let me display flyers/posters about it please could you let me know in the comments? (I would put my e-mail or Twitter handle on here but I’m not sure I’m allowed to do that?)
