Stop Guinness Evicting Marian - Protest Thursday 19th November.
Marian and her 2 children are still fighting tooth and nail against the Guinness Housing Association's attempt to evict them. Marian is planning to protest outside a major housing event in order to shame Guinness who will be attending there. She would really appreciate more people to stand with her and make her presence felt.
Join Marian outside the Olympia Conference Centre anytime between 8.30am and 2pm on Thursday to protest and collect petitions -
Hammersmith Road, W14 8UX (near Kensington Olympia station or West Kensington)

Marian is also speaking at "Another Lambeth is Possible"
An open conference to discuss the Housing Crisis, Social Cleansing and Community Solutions
1pm to 5pm, Saturday 28th November
Thousands marched to 'Reclaim Brixton' but hyper development in the area continues to displace long-term communities.
Loretta Lees, a leading expert on gentrification, Helen Hayes MP, Tom Chance Green Party spokesperson on housing, Hassina Malik from Lambeth Council Unison, Susan Mathews secretary Lambeth Trades Council, and many more will be joining past and current residents affected by regeneration, young people excluded from the benefits of 'development', small business owners, migrant communities and the many precarious groups under threat of being priced out for good.
We are meeting at Pop Brixton - seen by many as a beacon of gentrification - and reclaiming it for a day of wide-ranging community debate and discussion.
