We are the students of SEM5 of GUJARAT TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY. We request to the Vc of Gtu Navin Seth  to kindly postpone the exam dates of semester 5 due to following reasons:-

1. Exam timetable of sem 5 was released officially  just 10 -12 days before the exam dates where as the timetable of all other semesters were released before 25-28 days before ,due to which students were expecting the dates to be somewhere between last week of December or First week of January.And as a result of that releasing timetable suddenly has mentally affected students due to the pressure to prepare for the exams in such a less time specially because these are not class test but University exams.
2. Secondly, the schedule for exams  is disturbing. There are no single holidays between exams.So, how students can even revision their syllabus when there is not even 24hours . When other universities are giving 5-10 days holidays between exams why not Gtu even giving 1-2 holidays between each exam.
3. Lastly, as there are no holidays between exam it will be difficult for every students to prepare and specially for students living in villages and hostels who daily up down to the exam centres which cost them 3-4 hours just to reach the centre. So, when they will reach home , prepare and again next day they have to give exams continuously making them difficult and exhausted.

So, at last i just want to request the VC NAVIN SETH to kindly reconsider this matter with prudence and postpone the Sem5 exams as we are not saying to Cancel it but to postpone as our future depends on these exams. And release new timetable with holidays between exams.
