San Patricio County Commissioners will vote on Exxon/SABIC Tax Abatements

Tax abatements are on the agenda for the Monday, February 27th county commissioners meeting. The meeting will be at 9AM at the county courthouse in Sinton, Texas. If you are able to attend, please sign up to voice your opinion. Exxon and Saudi Arabia Basic Industries Corporation are billion dollar corporations that do not need our tax dollars. Why should the taxpayers foot the bill for them to build the largest steam cracker plant in the world across the street from homes and less than 1.5 miles from 3 local schools? If Exxon/SABIC wants to build here, then they can pay 100% of their own tax bill. This is your chance to make a difference.
