The Issue

UK Greggs should allow well-behaved dogs inside so their owners can enjoy relaxing cups of their favourite drinks along with snacks. Vote for this change below.

When I visited Felixstowe Greggs, its manager shouted at me to leave with my assistance dog. She wore her working vest with the Assistance Dogs UK emblem clearly on show. I felt humiliated and undervalued as a customer. I had every right to enter with my registered assistance dog, and a Greggs manager certainly shouldn’t have shouted at me. It’s taken me a while to be able to petition as being a military veteran, I don’t respond well to being shouted at. I’ve had to work on my mental health since this distressing incident. This wouldn’t have been an issue if Greggs were to follow the example of some coffee and snack cafes and allow all dogs access to their cafes and retail units.

Please vote for this change to happen and give much-loved Greggs the opportunity to be more inclusive.

Thanks.
