The Issue

Gregory Bell was convicted of murdering his girlfriend, Tia Hutson, in her home in Saint Jo, Texas. The verdict came despite a disturbing lack of physical evidence tying him to the crime scene — and the presence of other suspicious individuals who may have had motive and opportunity.
Greg lived 30 minutes away at Comanche Rose Ranch in Nocona, where he worked and resided. That night, cell phone geolocation data placed him at home, not in Saint Jo. A professional expert was prepared to testify to this during trial, but the District Attorney shut down the testimony before the jury ever heard it.
Even more troubling: Little Gary, the neighbor who found Tia’s body and called police, admitted in court to wiping blood off the suspected murder weapon — yet he was never charged or seriously investigated. Cody Goolsby, a person Greg suspected from the beginning, was reportedly seen changing clothes and switching seats with a woman named Amy P just eight miles from the crime scene that night. A trusted local civilian witnessed this. Amy, the driver, may also have key information about what happened.
Detective Kevin, a law enforcement professional familiar with the case, has publicly stated he believes Greg is innocent — and has been closely looking at Cody Goolsby as a serious person of interest.
At trial, forensic evidence was mishandled. A white substance was wiped from Tia’s body and reportedly discarded without ever being tested. It did not match Greg’s DNA. Early media headlines described the murder as a rape, but later coverage quietly dropped any mention of sexual assault. One of the forensic investigators has since contacted Greg’s attorney with findings that may provide strong grounds for appeal — possibly related to the discarded biological evidence.
Meanwhile, Greg’s own attorney struggled to mount a proper defense, reportedly due to health issues during trial. He failed to object to false claims, let major inconsistencies go unchecked, and was unprepared when the prosecution blocked key defense testimony..
Greg Bell is now facing life in prison. But serious evidence points elsewhere. With suppressed testimony, missing forensic proof, and a witness who admitted to destroying possible evidence — this case demands urgent reexamination before an innocent man spends the rest of his life behind bars.
