Shut down the Corps of Cadets

Shut down the Corps of Cadets
The Issue
The Corps of Cadets is severely under-equipped to handle the COVID-19 pandemic.
With 40-50 cadets living in a hallway of extremely close quarters, it is inevitable that this will cause a rise in case numbers.
Cadets are massed into Duncan Dining hall and are forced to stand in lines that limit the ability to practice safe social distancing.
The leadership of the Corps of Cadets still remain clueless as to how to create a protocol for cadets that are high risk, or have covid.
Entire outfits have been sent home and the commanding staff is threatening cadets with punishment for having to isolate. This is a violation to a cadets safety. If punishment is to occur from having to isolate then what reason would a cadet report close contact or contraction? The cadets facing punishment were not breaking COIVD regulations yet they are being punished for something they can not control.
Consistently, cadets have been told by commanding staff that they “don’t know what to do”. With a lack of preparation and understood severity of the situation one can only assume how much worse this is going to get.
We have to stop this now. For the safety of the Cadets and College Station.
