Reform VAWA

Reform VAWA
The Issue
We are needing reform in our family courts. Women are able to use the VAWA (Violence Agaginst Women's Act) in order to gain custody and divorces with false accusations of domestic abuse and/or violence. There are hundreds of thousands father's that are effected everyday in the corrupt family court system that is supposed to protect the children and preserve the rights of families. Yet, this is all but the case in our current system.
I am a father that has false accusations of threats that my Ex-Spouse placed on me after I attempted to have her charged with injury to a child offense. On Aug 19, 2013 after I met with investigators and county attorney I returned to an empty home only to find out later that she had ran off with our 3 children to a crisis center. Now today still am allowed no contact with my children and must pay $750 a month in child support.
Under the VAWA the definition of domestic violence is so broad that it includes fear, intimidation, level of voice, etc...
States use the VAWA for current funding by pushing protective orders without any investigation of any and all accusations.
The VAWA needs reform and change needs to be now before more innocent lives are destroyed under this act.
There will be a nationwide rally on June 13, 2014 at all Capital buildings and in D.C. Please sign my petition for reform and join us in the fight to preserve the sanctity of families in our country.
