Sorry everyone, stand down. Incredibly - outrageously - the skate park in Charlton will no longer be discussed at this evenings 6.30pm planning meeting. With less than 3 hours notice the skate park has been dropped from the meeting with no explanation other than 'an unfortunate administrative error'. If you were planning to attend, thank you. I really hope you will be able to attend on the 14th when the council are now saying the skate park will be voted on. Right now I find it very hard to encourage anyone to make firm plans to attend but hopefully by the time a new agenda is published for the 14th I will be in a more positive frame of mind! There's people who throughout this process have done everything they can to delay and stop the skate park from happening. Hard to believe that similar antics have not been behind todays delay. But throwing in the towel plays right into their hands, so we need to be ready to attend in numbers for the next meeting, whenever that is. I'll be in touch.
