Grappling Industries: Take a Stand for Victims Not Perpetrators

The Issue

In recent current events, victims of sexual assault have felt more empowered to come forward, because as a society, we have started to truly hear their stories. To continue to do our part, we need to take a stand against glorifying any athletes with a history of sexual assault.

On October 5th, 2018, Grappling Industries was confronted for promoting their events by revering Lloyd Irvin athlete, DJ "Action" Jackson, a known sex offender.

When questioned about this activity, Grappling Industries blocked two of their customers from the Instagram account, refusing to take responsibility.

Being a black belt means being held to high standards, one of which is basic human decency. There is no place for a culture that turns a blind eye to sexual assault in the sport of Jiu Jitsu.

Sign this petition and tell Grappling Industries to stop promoting athletes who are known sex offenders. Let Grappling Industries know that you will not support their events until they choose to support the victims of sexual assault.
