Earlier this week, on 10/04/2018, the Belvoir Hunt's terrierman (George Grant) & his son were convicted of grievious bodily harm, actual bodily harm, theft & criminal damage for an attack on two League Against Cruel Sports (LACS) investigators. This is on top of the head gamekeeper of an estate that hosts this hunt being recently convicted for an offence under the Animal Welfare Act 2006*, for the cruel treatment of a captive fox being stored ready for the hunt to 'use'. The Mayor of Grantham was shocked when he heard about these cases, but refrained from making any judgements before they concluded. We will be meeting him soon as it is now time to tell the Belvoir Hunt not to come to Grantham again. If they are invited, we will be protesting (again!).
