This petition exists to help alert schools about the endangerment of the environment they are doing. Recycle bins is important so plastic and other recyclable materials can't be wasted. It's the reason why the great salt lake is shrinking. All the plastic can also affect environments to collapse. As stated in a slide I had to study at one of the schools "Pollution can come back to bite us in the butt". The environment can die due to schools putting up stuff that encourages people to recycle, but not doing it themselves. It would be better to add recycle bins around schools alike, more specifically, the Canyons School District schools. I think now is the time to act and prevent the death of multiple ecosystems that helps us with our water. I mean, the story of the trails of Utah is as good as time, and I want to preserve it for the next generation.

According to many studies, 67 pounds of trash is wasted A YEAR FOR ONE SCHOOL. Now imagine that WITH 52 SCHOOLS. That is... quick maths 3484 POUNDS OF TRASH WASTED A YEAR. So I ask you, do you want death or life?
