The Issue

Join us in calling on policymakers to officially recognize and teach the Mong history and cultural identity.

For generations, the Mong Indigenous People have sought ways to protect our distinct identity, history, and culture. Despite our unique language, traditions, and heritage, we are often incorrectly classified under other ethnic groups, such as Miao. This misclassification obscures our true history and undermines our right to preserve and go by our own identity.

Official recognition is essential to protecting Mong culture, preserving our history for future generations, and ensuring fair representation in government policies and educational programs. This will put a stop to the ethnocide and silent genocide on the Mong people. It's important to have recognition of our Mong history and for it to be taught to our children in the public education so Mong can continue the Mong cultural lineage.

We need 5000+ signatures.  No donation is needed to sign. Any donation will go to Change.org.  To donate to Mong Heritage, you may visit http://www.mongheritage.org/Donations.html
