Dear Supporters: 

We are now at 241 signers for this petition. Yesterday, I wrote and sent an email with this petition attached to the Grant County Prosecutor, Scott Hunt. When I facilitated a petition to Indiana's governor in 2016, we had to keep the petition going for another six months after I first contacted the governor to get the conclusion supporters then wanted. I don't want to make any assumptions about how Mr. Hunt will respond, but we will keep this petition going. I will keep you posted on what we hear from Mr. Hunt, if anything. 

I am sometimes asked how many signatures does this petition need. The answer to this is that it needs as many signatures as it would take to persuade Mr. Hunt to revise the charges against Zaiden Guy. Of course I believe that what this petition is asking for is entirely reasonable, but we would not need a petition at all if Zaiden weren't facing adult prosecution. 

Please continue to promote this petition on your social media accounts. I have a few other ideas for promoting this petition: 

1) If you know of local Grant County politicians, please share the petition with them. They may have helpful influence with Mr. Hunt. 

2) We had a boost of support for the petition when I shared it one Sunday morning at the Marion church I attend, REAL Community Covenant Church. Can we share the petition at a church you attend? I would be very willing to visit any Grant County church or organization to share and discuss the petition.

3) As far as I know, we haven't yet had any news media coverage for the petition. I am willing to talk with the press if any reporter would be interested. 

I have other ideas I hope to present in the future. But we might not need those ideas yet if Mr. Hunt is persuaded soon by this effort. Thank you, as always, for your support of this petition. As always as well, remember (in prayer, if you pray) Zaiden, his family, and the family of Byron Dennis.
