CALL FOR ACTION
Grant Clemency - Pardon the Freedom Convoy

TOGETHER THE TRUCKERS STOOD FOR FREEDOM WHEN IT MATTERED MOST, NOW WE NEED YOU TO STAND FOR OUR FREEDOMS WHEN IT MATTERS MOST.

In 2022, thousands of us stood peacefully in Ottawa and across this great country to speak out for freedom, fairness, and our Lawful Rights as citizens. That demonstration — the Freedom Convoy — was one of the largest and most enthusiastic calls for liberty in Canadian history.

Many of us did so peacefully, in good faith, and with love of country in our hearts.

But now, countless participants — mothers, fathers, truckers, and everyday Canadians — are facing harsh criminal penalties, financial ruin, and the weight of a justice system that seems determined to punish rather than to listen.

Did you know, HUNDREDS of Peaceful Law-abiding Canadians are now victims of Political Prosecution where they have had lawfare committed against them, been denied bail, had to endure solitary confinement, house arrests, criminal records, and jailed. All for standing up peacefully for the individual Lawful Rights against the Canadian Government.

It is time to turn the page.
It is time to heal.
It is time to reconcile as a nation.

I James Bauder, key organizer behind the Freedom Convoy am calling on the Prime Minister, the Cabinet, and the Governor General of Canada to grant clemency (Pardons) to the peaceful participants of the Freedom Convoy through the Royal Prerogative of Mercy — an extraordinary but rightful act of reconciliation that reflects the values we hold dear.

I believe:

✅ No Canadian should face prison or get a criminal record or house arrest for standing up peacefully for their Lawful Freedom of Choice.
✅ The time has come to end the lawfare, political prosecutions and repair the bonds of trust.
✅ Mercy and forgiveness are hallmarks of a mature, democratic society.

I therefore ask YOU — fellow Canadians, Americans and the World — to please sign this petition and show your support for granting clemency (Pardons) to the peaceful Freedom Convoy participants.

Together, we can send a clear message to our leaders.

I have even made a Draft Memorandum Prime Minister Mark Carney can use to start the Process of granting Clemency (Pardons) for the Entire Freedom Convoy.

📄 DRAFT MEMORANDUM FOR PRIME MINISTER MARK CARNEY TO CONSIDER

TO: The Honourable Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada
FROM: Prime Minister of Canada
DATE: [Insert date]
SUBJECT: Initiating Clemency Process for Freedom Convoy Participants

📌 Purpose

This memorandum formally directs the Minister of Justice to begin the necessary legal and administrative review to grant clemency to individuals prosecuted and/or convicted for their participation in the Freedom Convoy protests of 2022, through the exercise of the Royal Prerogative of Mercy or other appropriate mechanisms.

📌 Background

The Freedom Convoy protests represented a significant and unprecedented expression of political dissent across Canada.
While maintaining public order and adherence to the rule of law are paramount, the continued criminalization and prosecution of participants risks deepening societal divisions and undermining national reconciliation.
In light of these concerns, and consistent with Canada’s traditions of fairness, proportionality, and compassion, it is in the public interest to explore clemency for individuals who acted in good faith and without violence.
📌 Directive

You are hereby requested to:

Undertake a full legal and policy review of available clemency options, including:
Identify the classes of individuals and offences eligible for relief, ensuring that serious crimes (e.g., violence, property destruction) are appropriately excluded if necessary.
Consult with relevant agencies, including the Parole Board of Canada and the Department of Public Safety, to gather relevant data and recommendations.
Prepare a comprehensive report outlining:
Provide the report to my office and Cabinet Secretariat within [insert timeframe — e.g., 60 days].
📌 Next Steps

Following your report, Cabinet will deliberate on the recommendation. If approved, formal advice will be tendered to the Governor General to exercise the Royal Prerogative of Mercy accordingly.

📌 Guiding Principles

This initiative should be guided by:

National reconciliation and healing.
Respect for the rule of law and the integrity of the justice system.
Transparency and fairness in eligibility criteria.
Recognition of the exceptional nature of the events and the participants’ intent.
📌 Conclusion

This action aligns with Canada’s long-standing tradition of mercy and reconciliation and serves the national interest by helping to restore trust in our democratic institutions. Please proceed accordingly and keep my office apprised of progress.

Approved by:
Prime Minister of Canada

Please note: The Listed "Draft Memorandum" above has no legal bearing, it is clearly for educational purposes to show how easy it is to start the procedure of requesting the Cabinet and Governor General to consider granting Clemency (Pardons).
