Exam season is quickly approaching and right now is a challenging time. By now, we all know that whatever exams we plan to take in these next months will be what mostly determines our next steps for the near future; this is an important time for us all. Most classes would've hopefully finished content by now and are attempting to do 'revision classes'. Ask yourself this. Do you revise the same way as your classmates? Do you have the same strengths or weaknesses on certain topics as your classmates? I don't think so. Do you honestly feel that you are fulfilling all of the revision you possibly could be doing in your day-to-day routine? No. Then how does it make sense that we as a cohort are required to attend school daily for the usual number of hours though many have complained that it is not effective for them?

Study leave is not a new concept. This isn't a controversial suggestion to improve the life of a sixth form student, it is a perfectly normal concept. Even within in our partnership schools, some institutions like Riverside have gotten permission to go on study leave. Imagine having the whole day to yourself able to revise whatever you need and do whatever you want.

If you want study leave, then please stand with me. I am fighting on behalf of the entire Year 13 but all I need is for you all to sign the petitition to show faculty like Ms Keane and Ms Evans that others have the same thoughts as myself.
