The Issue

Our brother, friend, and influential figure, Fetty Wap, has always been a beacon of compassion and generosity. Beyond the fame, Fetty Wap, whose legal name is Willie Junior Maxwell II, has remained deeply rooted in love, loyalty, and service to others.
Throughout his life, he has selflessly opened his doors to family and friends in need, visited fans battling illness in hospitals, and quietly donated to families facing financial hardship. His acts of kindness are not occasional headlines; they are a lifelong commitment to uplifting those around him. He has consistently used his platform to give back and give hope.
Unfortunately, there have been many misunderstandings surrounding his current legal situation. Contrary to widespread and often exaggerated headlines, Fetty Wap was not charged with trafficking multiple substances or leading a drug operation. He pleaded guilty to a single count: conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine. That is the only charge for which he currently serves a federal sentence.
This is not a petition to excuse wrongdoing. It is a call for justice that considers the complete picture of Fetty Wap: a father, a brother, a community builder, and a man who has already paid dearly. We believe in accountability, but we also believe in mercy, second chances, and the power of redemption.
We, the undersigned, respectfully urge that his case be reconsidered for presidential pardon or sentence commutation. His sentence has separated him from his children, his family, and his community, people who need him and who continue to be uplifted by his influence. Fetty Wap is more than his charge. His life and legacy reflect values we should support: growth, healing, and transformation.
Please sign this petition to stand for compassion, justice, and the opportunity for a good man to return to the people who need him most.
Let's bring Willie Maxwell II home.
