I am a passionate Halloween lover, and like many others in our community, I want the day off on Halloween to prepare for this cherished tradition. This is not just about me; it's about all of us who value the spirit of Halloween and want to celebrate it fully.

Strongsville has always been a place that values culture and traditions. However, currently there is no provision for students to take the day off on Halloween. This means that many students are unable to prepare and cherish this fun holiday. If we get the day off we could have time to prepare our costumes, decor, and candy!

According to a survey by the National Retail Federation (NRF), nearly 70% of Americans plan to celebrate Halloween. It's clear that this holiday holds significant importance in our society.

By granting students a day off on October 31st, Strongsville Schools would be acknowledging the significance of this holiday and allowing its student body an opportunity to engage more deeply with it.
