I am simply in awe at how quickly this petition has garnered support.  We're up to over 250 signatures in less than a day!  To each and every one of you who have signed and shared this petition, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This fight doesn't end here, however.  I expect that there may be an uphill battle with those in power on campus, especially where purse strings are involved.  The reality is that installing a suicide deterrent will not be free, but the cost of an infrastructure update is nothing compared to the cost of a lost human life.  Together, we can work to overcome this hurdle and catalyze change on our campus.  

Please join me in this fight to honor Quinn and prevent further tragedies.  If you haven't already, please share this petition with your friends and family and on social media so that we can gather as many signatures as possible.  If you've already signed and shared but are looking for more ways to contribute, another way to do so is to email President Mantella directly at president@gvsu.edu and make your voice heard.
