Only recently France has amended the legal definition of animals. They have emotions, feel pain and have babies and dreams. They take very little from the earth's resources and return more than the average human and their consumption. They are thus in need and deserving of better love and repect than being subject to pointless inhuman atrocities. Given this-”WHY” is the commercial trading of pets still legal? What is the ethical and moral framework behind it??? By now, it is obvious that the model is not working; too many people either abandon purchased pets when they are done experimenting or the pets commit emotional suicide because of lack of love and understanding. How can "animals with emotions" carry a price tag? Why is the idea of discriminating dogs, cats being encouraged? Why are some animals purchasable and others not? How are street animals lesser than purchasable cats, dogs? How can "life" be traded? How is a government caring, humane and ethical enough not to ban this atrocity??If it is not wrong, then “Why should an animal be traded and a human not”??? It is daily atrocity for animals and people alike to hear purchased pets in confinement screaming, whining, all day long being surrounded by unemotional, insensitive, uncaring owners; why is the govt allowing the idea of discrimnation of domestic animals by putting a price tag on them? Most people buy dogs for fashion, show-off, or for personal security but do not realize the responsibility that comes with it, cannot relate properly with their emotions and are a complete FAILURE in ensuring their happiness. There are also people who just keep pets out of jealousy of others who have them at home, often even jealous of rescued pets and want to prove they are better by buying pedigree dogs while showing 'condescending and discriminatory' behavior to the street dog; this is fast becoming a DAILY disgrace to the peaceful functioning of the society and the laws that it stands by as more number of people are developing emotional sensitivity to animals and find it difficult to go about their normal lives on the face of such enormous suffering. It has been proven repeatedly that animals/dogs, cats are NOT things or commodities, they have intelligent emotions, can FEEL and understand injustice when they are abused without provocation.

Puppies are being stolen off the streets and separated from their lactating mothers to be sold in "ILLEGAL" and LEGAL outlets.  Why is are the law enforcing authorities finding a handicap in rightfully and righteously dealing with such outlets?? How and WHY must the govt of india "allow" the beeding of such pointless and unnecessary evil - how is it helping the govt if dogs, cats and other animals and pets are traded, bought and sold?? How is this useful, legal, moral, democratic. and not violating of BASIC animal AND human rights, directly or indirectly??

WHY is this cruelty still being allowed to FLOURISH?!?

What is the Use of a govt that cannot educate, set examples or impart moral values to its people??? How are immoral businesses helping the society at large? Does the govt care enough?
