Petition updateJustice for Belly Mujinga.Watching the CCTV of the alleged two assaults on Belly Mujinga

Yesterday, I watched the appallingly poor quality CCTV footage of Belly being confronted on two separate occasions by a big white guy at Victoria station on Saturday 21 March 2020.

The big guy towered over her and her colleague.

He walked upright and purposeful manner which suggested a public school/Establishment, military or police, background, or just someone big, broad shouldered and tall but with very good posture, white hair, and smartly dressed with a brown jacket, pressed jeans and dark trainers.

During his confrontational conduct, he pointed at Belly. It looked to me to be angry and threatening. He does not cover his mouth.

On each occasion, he confronted them Belly and her co-worker, M, flinched or backed away. They looked to me to be anxious.

The fact that the big guy walked away to stand in a queue of two customers before then returning to confront her again in a second separate incident clearly demonstrates that his aggressive conduct was probably not "involuntary", as he claims. It appears deliberate, and for a straight-backed, smartly dressed guy to lose his composure completely and start pointing at Belly, and not be able to walk away from the first incident without putting the metaphorical boot in again, evidences real anger.  .

Belly and M said he said that he had the covid virus, before coughing and shouting and spitting at them. Why would he tell them that? What was his purpose?

He also only targeted the black (African) female staff on the concourse and at the ticket window.

Even with the appallingly poor quality CCTV Belly and M looked anxious and scared by his conduct towards them. They looked harassed. It appeared to be two separate incidents of assault.

Why was he pointing at Belly and M?

Why did he appear to be so angry at them?

Was he provoked?

What was his motivation?

Belly Mujinga died before her time. We need to make those responsible for that tragedy fully accountable.

Please watch Panorama's "Belly Mujinga: searching for the truth" on 12 October 2020 at 7.35pm. It is important.

Do you know anyone who was at Victoria Station on Saturday 21 March 2020 at 11.22am to say 11.30am who may have witnessed events first-hand?

There was a woman in a smart lilac puffa coat and two female students with small backpacks, and one male guy waiting to be served when the incidents happened. Please help us to track him down. He was buying his mother a ticket to travel up north, or so he said. Perhaps you work with him? He had a covid 19 test on 25 March 2020. Send me pictures. Even through that grainy, hopelessly poor CCTV footage, I would recognise him.

The hunt for justice is now afoot.

Be well.

Lawrence
