I have autism. I attended the vocational day program at Allaire Community Farm. I made friends and loved it so much that now I am going to teach there. In November 2020 we were told we had to shut down. Since we are on a farm there isn't an option for us to be remote. I miss my friends. I am angry that I can't see them and that there is no end in sight. Imagining them at home feeling lonely too makes me sad. Having autism I need consistency and structure. I don't want to go back to the program only to be told a week later we have 48 hours to shut. I feel like no one cares. I joined this group to share my story and hopefully make a change for me and my friends.
