Dear Governor Murphy aka Phil,
I am sure it’s not easy being a Governor, running a State of roughly 9 million people, and on top of that during a once in a century pandemic, and after all is it JERSEY , however, do you really think that the most stringent restrictions to allow opening (even at the least capacity ) should be on a vulnerable group of Developmentally Disabled Adults by keeping their Day programs closed at 100% capacity? These programs are not recreational like youth sports, they’re not like professional sporting events like a baseball or football game, they’re not even school. THEY ARE ESSENTIAL THERAPEUTIC’S for their DISABILITIES!!! They are not the ones adding to the rise in cases and yet you PUNISH them for it ?!?! SHAME ON YOU, I will be praying for you to do the right thing and open Day Programs for the Disabled Adult community immediately. Oh, and btw have you ever heard of a Federal Law for the “Protected Class” you may want to research that.
With All My Love,
Pam
