I am Starting this petition for Tyquan C. Knox he has been incarcerated since January of 2007. This year he has served 15 years. at 18 years old he was tried and convicted of murder and robbery and was sentenced to Life Without Parole +21yrs +25yrs He is currently serving his sentence at the Centinela State Prison in Imperial CA . Tyquan is no longer the 18 year old boy he was when he was arrested he is now a 34 year old man who is a loving Father. 

Prior to tyquans arrest he had a promising future with multiple college scholarship offers, and had to quickly adjust to those opportunities being taken from him. He has attempted to make the best of his situation by participating in a few of the short list of self help programs the institution he is currently in offers, like computer courses as well as learning the skill of barbering, with hopes of pursuing more in the near future as spaces become available for other courses he wishes to participate in. Despite the unimaginable circumstances Tyquan is currently in he remains positive while continuing to mature and show tremendous amounts of growth while embracing every opportunity given to him. I am starting this petition in hopes of Tyquan being granted clemency and given a second chance at life that will not only affect his life but the life of his family and loved ones.
