Gainesville Leaders Not Intimidated By Publix! (Retail Federation)

This week, The Florida Retail Federation (Publix' lobbying firm) attempted to 'intimidate' the City of Gainesville over their upcoming plastic bag ban. They sent a letter threatening potentially lawsuits. The city leaders voted to continue their plastic bag ban and it will become effective in January.
