Congratulations and thank you to the City of Coral Gables for their leadership! They've become the first city to officially ban single use plastic bags. Do you want your city to be next? Write and call your elected city officials! This ordinance (law) is monumental and this decision will lead to others following. I'd like to personally thank Commissioner Vince Lago for taking the lead on this. Commissioner Lago worked with the business community and was flexible with the implementation timeline.
