Since Coral Gables announced they're banning plastic bags there has been a significant amount of interest from other Florida cities. This is great news! Tomorrow is Coral Gables first public hearing on their ordinance. We need people to show up in support. 405 Biltmore Way, Miami, FL 33134 - Please show up by 12:15PM at the latest. In Florida there has been a preemption which does not allow Plastic Bags to be banned, however, the City of Coral Gables is saying NO MORE! They are challenging the State Law as their attorney finds it unconstitutional. No more plastic bags which harm our environment, block our storm drains and injure wildlife.
