Mark your calendar! Hecate Energy to host two open house meetings over Zoom to provide updates and general discussion of the proposed solar facility in Copake, NY.
 
Illinois-based Hecate Energy is hosting two open houses via Zoom on April 28th at 1:00pm and 5:00pm. The Hecate Energy Team will discuss the status of the proposed industrial-scale solar facility planned for Copake and Craryville, NY. Both meetings will cover the same topics. 

Sensible Solar for Rural NY urges all those opposed to the now 360-acre solar development to join either one or both meetings to voice their opposition. As local land owners and long time residents, this is our chance to voice our concerns over Hecate Energy's proposed solar facility which will change the landscape of our community for decades.

The project remains in direct violation of the Town of Copake’s zoning laws, goes against growing community opposition, and will have lasting adverse impacts on Copake’s natural resources, farmland, birds and wildlife, rural viewsheds, and agriculture- and tourism-centric economy.
