EXTEND TRAM LINE FROM BALWYN NORTH TO DONCASTER AND ON TO MITCHAM STATION!
The issue
In Doncaster (Manningham) there is a lack of public transport options with no train, no tram and a questionable bus service, which is why the tram line needs to be extended from Balwyn North to Doncaster and onto Mitcham Station.
We need to increase transport options, better service delivery and more business opportunities within the community. New commercial opportunities would become available for small, medium and large scale businesses to take on more projects and grow their workforce. Getting to and from the Tunstall Square shops, even allowing another mode of transport for those who might be visiting a loved one at the Donvale Rehab Hospital is a great thing.
** IMPORTANT NOTE: I also support a train to Doncaster. I am opposed to option A for the North East Link, as it would effectively knock out a realistic chance to run a train line down the Eastern Freeway.
