Alisha Sheikh started this petition to Government of Pakistan and

The Pakistan justice system is FAILING its animals.

9 YEARS OLD FAMILY PITBULL CHUCK HAS BEEN SHOT THREE TIMES IN HIS BACK AND MURDERED MERCILESSLY FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER.

There are many viral posts going around regarding the Murder of innocent chuck. He lived in DHA, Lahore, Pakistan and was a family pet for 9 years. There was no reason to shoot this dog three times. He used an unlicensed rifle. And claimed to be a barrister. The dog killer's name is AHMED UMAR SAQIB. The man's only answer was that "he is a pitbull and they are banned in America. I shot him without thinking." This pitbull lived with a litter of new born kittens and lived in harmony with a cat. How can such a dog be so wrongly assumed and killed without a thought?

We all know that this shooting is nothing short of a murder. In Pakistan, animal rights are close to nothing, this is something that needs to change and it needs to change NOW. Thousands of dogs get shot mercilessly in cities throughout Pakistan and the world needs to help the Government of PAKISTAN see that we HEAR THE CRIES OF THESE ANIMALS AND THIS NEEDS TO STOP. WE NEED A LAW TO PROTECT THEM. WE NEED CHUCKS KILLER JAILED.

ANIMAL RIGHTS EXISTS AND IS IMPORTANT!

According to the comments on the posts about Chuck, there are so many similiar cases throughout Pakistan. There are so many shootings of dogs that happen on a DAILY basis. Yes, DAILY. Shootings that are left unanswered, dogs that are buried with no justice.

This is now 2021. We need change to happen in Pakistan TODAY for these animals.

We need to fight for the justice for Chuck, and justice for any dog in Pakistan that has had to go through this painful torment.
