It is crucial time in the history of Nepal. We, people of Madhesh and tharuhat, raising our voice against the injustice going to be done on us in the new Constitution. We are protesting from far western part to eastern part of southern Nepal. The rulers of Nepal and the media Houses are gone intentionally deaf and blind to ours Demands and the Protest. They are acting as there is nothing happening in the country. Press plays an important role in the democracy. The Press should be independent and report actual situation. Unfortunately, this is not the case in Nepal. The press is covering the protest in biased manner. They are acting as the mouthpiece of Government of Nepal and spreading falsehood. The government of Nepal is acting on the behalf of few leaders from big party. These leaders have their own agenda. They are trying to impose their greed on the people of Nepal. But they are forgetting that we have democracy. As said by Abraham Lincoln “Democracy is the government of the people, by the people, for the people.” In democracy the people of nation is more important than the greed of few powerful leaders. We have selected theses leaders to serve us. But they are not fulfilling their duty. They are acting as there is nothing happening even though more than half of the population of Nepal is protesting against their decision. The people of Nepal are demanding their right. They are vocal and they are on their feet. They are protesting and protesting for more than 2 weeks now. The southern part of Nepal is completely shut down. Life is miserable there. People are being killed by state machinery (police, military) merely because they are seeking justice. But the media and the leaders are ignoring this fact. Not only that they are misusing the state machinery to stop this agitation by means of cruelty and violence and killing. The state of Nepal has killed many innocent people and a large number of people are wounded. We condemn such violence of the Nepal Government and argues the government of Nepal to solve this problem peaceful through dialog. Stop killing innocent people.
