The Jamaican Government Considering Extra $4b Funding for the University of the West Indies

Hi Friends,

A Bless-ed Sunday to you and your loved ones.

Below is the link to the latest news on the Government of Jamaica's governance decisions concerning our National University, UTech, Jamaica.

I read the headline, then forced myself to read the article and I said to myself

"Lamenting and wringing of hands are not  political or solution-orientation strategies!"

"How does an organization [including its stakeholders] that teaches people how to think, innovate, and solve problems, and from which 1000s graduate, populate the world, and lead in multiple spheres, countenance this discrepancy for decades?"

"How do we, a nation of free people, accept poor governance as our lot in life, and be content to bask in the glory of sports and cultural icons?"

"This matter will be sorted, when 100m hopefuls stop pretending to play football, basketball or cricket."

Thanks for your support of our national University, the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech, Jamaica).

We crave your continued vigilance and monitoring of how our government treats this 60+ year old institution.
