China's wild animal markets have exported the novel coronavirus globally, wrecking lives and livelihoods along their lethal path. The future has never looked as bleak before.
We hold President Xi Jinping responsible for a practice that has ravaged the world in the past (SARS 2003, e.g.) and is wreaking havoc on an unprecedented scale today (COVID-19 2020). We demand that he enforce a total, immediate, and effective ban on the farming and marketing of wild animals in China. 
The current cosmetic ban by the Chinese government is unacceptable. On behalf of humankind, we demand that President Xi act with unequivocal resolve and stop this inhuman and lethal cultural practice in China NOW!
