To kick off the remaining days of the election, we are holding a porch sit-in at 1117 Queen Street West, each evening, for 11 days!
We all know how often this space is used by the community and how much potential it has to become a true community hub.
Starting on Saturday September 11 from 5-8 pm each night, for the next 11 days, we are hosting a sit-in/party/protest on the back porch of our beloved Community Post building!
Invite your friends and invite your family!
Bring your dinner or a drink.
Hang out or Work out.
Meet your neighbours or sit quietly with your book.
Enjoy some music or share your art!
Our 11 days for 1117 QW sit-in is about showing how great the WQW Community Post Hub is and can be. This is a fun and informal event for all ages and all beings. Come for the whole evening or just 10 minutes. Your presence is your support.
Please come out and show our politicians how much this space is used and needed!
We need to halt the sale! Secure funds from the City to buy the property! And have a promise from our candidates to amend the Canada Post Act to ensure that Public Land stays in Public Hands!
