We need to close China’s wet markets permanently covid19 is just the latest virus caused by the wet markets in China mers-covid...SARS-covid H1N1 and now covid19....The Chinese government allows citizens to breed animals and sell them at market any and all animals including bats,rats,poultry,live animals are butchered on site.....the cages are stacked on top of each other excrement is seeping thru cages below...dead dogs are laying on top of these cages....when there is an outbreak they close the market down for a few months then they reopen business as usual....it takes a few years for the next virus to mutate but it does and there is another outbreak....These markets need to be closed permanently!!! Which meant more viruses on the farms. Nonetheless, these animals were funneled into the wet markets for profit. While this legal wildlife farming industry started booming, it simultaneously provided cover for an illegal wildlife industry. These wet markets led to the outbreak of the SARS virus in 2002, and that China reopened the wet markets after the outbreak was over.“It’s this minority that the Chinese government chose to favor over the safety of the rest of its population,”  “Soon after the coronavirus outbreak, the Chinese government shut down thousands of wet markets and temporarily banned wildlife trade again.
