Despite the fact that the Android platform has been around for a long time, it is still quite difficult to develop a high-quality software. Lack of tools and libraries for Android development has significant impact. Development could take man-months or even man-years. After passing this complicated path, developers are faced with hostility of the Google Play platform.

 

 The main problems:

Problem 1: Appplication could be blocked/suspended without any extra information. Common information about the cause of blocking (https://play.google.com/intl/en/about/developer-content-policy.html or something like https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/2986097) is not usually enough to understand what needs to be corrected in the application.

Solution: Detailed information about the cause of blocking with reviewer remarks should be provided to developers.

Problem 2: Sometimes applications are blocked forever instead of being temporary suspended.

Solution: Developers should always have an opportunity to fix/improve their rejected application and re-publish the new version (instead of creating a new application).

Problem 3: Developer's application can be blocked only few times before his account will be blocked forever without ability to create a new one (according to Google Play rules), but almost always developer can't guess why his application was rejected and can not fix it properly. It's a kind of lottery.

Solution: It is enough to freeze the developer's account on Google Play for a while (1 week, 1 month, 2 months, etc.). It will be a good lesson for the offender.

 

Android developers spend their strength and time during creation of Android applications. Please respect their work as they respect Google and Google Play.
