Dear Google,

Coronavirus is killing us by the tens of thousands and you may be able to help us slow it down.

You already gave us the amazing traffic congestion graphs on Google Maps. Now please add information about queue congestion for essential services like hospitals, supermarkets, pharmacies, petrol stations, banks and social welfare offices.

If we can check how long the queue is to get into a supermarket, we can stay at home until the queue is shorter and reduce the risk of exposure for everybody at that supermarket. We know that the bigger the crowd, the faster it spreads. Shorter queues will slow the spread and save lives.

Google, our phones are turned on and GPS is already enabled on most of them - you already have all the info you need to provide this info. You already have the technology to show us congestion on the roads, and we know you are smart enough to adapt it and show us congestion in queues too.
