Google and Apple need to clearly disclose the country of origin for all their applications, the respective publishers, and the country of incorporation of the parent company on their Play store and iOS stores.

All the above information needs to be verified and regulated by Google and Apple for new and existing publishers. Strict penalization needs to be imposed if publishers provide falsified information.

The revenues generated from purchases ultimately end up in the country of origin.  Therefore the users of the apps, in the end, should have the right to make an informed decision to support their application of choice.
