We are collecting signatures in an effort to compel YouTube to remove all advertising from the video "Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up."

"Rickrolling," alternatively "rick-rolling," is a prank and an Internet meme involving an unexpected appearance of the music video for the 1987 Rick Astley song "Never Gonna Give You Up". The meme is a type of bait and switch using a disguised hyperlink.

With the rise of YouTube advertising, "Rickrolling" has suffered tremendously. It is common for somebody who is being "rick-rolled" to land the proper YouTube page only to encounter an advertisement for a product that has little to do with "Rickrolling." This gives the somebody ample opportunity to become aware of what is transpiring and navigate away from the webpage before they can be properly "Rickrolled."

We, the undersigned, ask YouTube and parent organization Google, to please remove all advertising from Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" so that no "Rickroll" is ever again frustrated.

Please visit our webpage to learn about other ways YOU can help.
