There are around 5.5 million people living in United States who speak/understand Russian including Sergey Bryn - one of your Google company founders. I am one of them living in US for over 25 years with background in software engineering and computer science. I do speak English and Russian and the reason I bought original Google Home as soon as it came out in Dec 2017 is due the fact Google Assistant supported Russian, English and many other languages. I was really excited when it came out since having Amazon Echo with inferior AI skills and no languages support, I thought Google home will nail it even though that audio and microphone were inferior to Amazon Echo. It was a disappointment when I found out Google Assistant is not supporting Russian in Google Home products and supported in mobile devices. I regretted the purchase back than but had high hopes that eventually Russian will be added. Now, it is 2020 and still no support even though it is supported in Assistant??? There are at least 170,000 Russian speakers living around the world with Russian being number 8th widely spoken language around the world. I hope decision not to include this language has nothing to do with politics, sanctions, bureaucracy or similar agenda and purely financially related but having resources Alphabet has, I wonder about road map for it. 

A little geography lesson: Google, there are about 150m Russians out there, not including CIS and other countries with Russian speakers. Russia covers about 1/8 of the entire world territory. Not selling Google products in Russia is Google's choice, not ours. How many of 150m are using Android, you tell us as you have all the stats data. Don't you, Google, think that it is still not enough to provide support for your products in Russia? We get through a lot if hoops to get your products and the last thing we need is not being able to use your products in Russian language.
