Surf Life Saving Clubs are the heart of many local communities and deliver more than just an on-beach safety service. Our clubs offer training, education, recreation, a place to socialise giving people a sense of purpose & belonging.

The Golden Beach Surf Life Saving Club (Vic) Inc was established to play an active role in Water Safety for locals and visitors.

There have been many challenges in our attempts to establish a fully affiliated Surf Life Saving Club, and now we are moving forward to become affiliated with Life Saving Victoria, which will enableinsurance coverage for the training of lifesavers.

We have a clubroom, with much of the required surf lifesaving equipment, and are currently completingthe building of our own amenities block for all abilities.

We are growing in membership and are open to new memberships and committee members, as we are managed by a small but dedicated committee.

In addition, we are hoping to be part of Whale Watch Victoria, with the establishment of a large public deck area which will replace the existing platform, enabling extended access to the beach for the Surf Club.

We urge Life Saving Victoria to give affiliation to Golden Beach Surf Life Saving Club (Vic) Inc so that we can attract more members and train lifesavers. Then we can get Lifesaving Flags at Golden Beach and have our beach patrolled for swimming.
