KONNICHIWA It's me Jamiera Cat revolting against goguardian. So I'm pretty sure you know what it is for its bad reputation among students. First of all, goguardian is spyware in disguise. It can access your microphone, camera, and detect your physical location. There's like too many reasons why we should ban this.

Goguardian is an invasion of privacy. It has access to literally EVERYTHING on a device when installed. Administrators can use this to stalk kids 24/7. That is just straight up violating the laws. We all know that administrators mainly use this just to dissect freedom and play "got you!". The students have a heart just like the administrators (If they even have one lol).

It can also just strait up DISABLE A BROWSER!!!! an administrator can automatically turn on goguardian 24/7 and disable an entire device's use. For middle school, if you're in a class and a totally different teacher turns on goguardian and disables what you were supposed to be doing. Students may also use their Chromebooks at lunch. An administrator can seriously turn on goguardian to ruin people's fun. We're all sick of this "goguardian" spyware...

I know we all had weird moments with goguardian before right? I remember when a teacher was stalking me while I was on the Official Battle Cats website. Goguardian just came out of nowhere onto a friend's Chromebook and DISABLED BROWSING! This happens to everyone everyday so this is why we need to ban it.

I know that goguardian is the common denominator between kids and freedom. It blocks even educational websites which is pretty weird. It stalks over 27 million students and over 10 thousand schools! Crazy right? Well here's the point. Goguardian was originally supposed to keep students on track in class, but ended up accusing 99.9999% of the student for things like homework or research. If the students realize this, they are less likely to trust their administrators in the future. Goguardian was nothing but a violation of privacy.

Yes, the administrators even try to install this on your personal devices. ALWAYS say NO because it has access to literally everything. You don't want your personal computers and phone being infested by goguardian recording you and blocking "insecure content", do you? I'll just take that as a no. Goguardian is just some stupid parasite spyware used to legally stalk kids.

If the students don't stand up for themselves then who will!?! We have a voice that some of us are afraid to use. That is why I made this entire essay. They can't be in control of YOUR lifetime! YOU get to decide YOUR future!!!! America is supposed to be "The Land of the Free"! Yes I know I live in Japan but still against this entire "goguardian" situation. WHO IS WITH ME!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
