For decades, the people of Iran have struggled for fundamental freedoms and human rights. In 2022 (1401), massive protests led by women demanded equal rights, an end to systemic discrimination, and freedom to make choices about their lives. These courageous movements inspired the world and highlighted the resilience of Iranian women.

Today, widespread protests continue, driven by economic hardship, rising inflation, and frustration with governance. Peaceful demonstrators face repression, violent crackdowns, and restrictions on communication.

This petition calls on the international community, the United Nations, and democratic governments to publicly support these citizens, condemn human rights violations, and advocate for the rights of Iranian people, including women, to freely determine their future.

دوستان و هموطنان عزیز،
مردم ایران سال‌هاست برای آزادی‌های اساسی و حقوق بشر مبارزه کرده‌اند. در سال ۱۴۰۱، اعتراضات گسترده به رهبری زنان خواستار برابری، پایان تبعیض سیستماتیک و آزادی انتخاب مسیر زندگی خود بودند. این جنبش شجاعانه الهام‌بخش جهان شد و مقاومت زنان ایرانی را نشان داد.
امروز، اعتراضات گسترده‌ای به دلیل مشکلات اقتصادی، افزایش تورم و نارضایتی از حکومت ادامه دارد. معترضان مسالمت‌آمیز با سرکوب، خشونت و محدودیت‌های شدید ارتباطی مواجه هستند.
این دادخواست از جامعه بین‌المللی، سازمان ملل و دولت‌های دموکراتیک می‌خواهد از این شهروندان حمایت کنند، نقض حقوق بشر را محکوم کنند و از حق مردم ایران، به ویژه زنان، برای تعیین آزادانه سرنوشت خود دفاع کنند.
