Global Petition for Accountability and Transparency in COVID-19 Response

The Issue

Dear concerned citizens,

We, the undersigned, call on governments worldwide, public health officials, pharmaceutical companies, and mainstream media to take responsibility for their role in spreading misinformation and failing to conduct thorough investigative journalism during the COVID-19 pandemic. We demand transparency, accountability, and a commitment to protecting the rights of individuals, even in times of crisis.

Throughout the pandemic, many governments have used the crisis as an opportunity to expand their powers and restrict the rights of their citizens. These actions have eroded public trust and undermined the very foundations of democracy.

Furthermore, many public health officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, have been accused of making up certain COVID-19 rules, including social distancing and masking kids, without sufficient scientific backing. Recent revelations have raised serious questions about the integrity of our public health institutions, yet many mainstream media outlets have been slow to report on these developments, and some have even attempted to downplay or discredit them.

We demand that governments:

1. Respect and uphold the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which guarantees the rights to life, liberty, and security of person, freedom of expression, peaceful assembly, and association, among others.

2. Never enforce lockdowns or mandate any medicine or medical treatment as a condition for free movement or access to public spaces.

3. Ensure that any restrictions on these rights are strictly necessary, proportionate, and time-bound, and that they are based on scientific evidence and the advice of public health experts.

4. Provide clear and transparent information about the rationale for any restrictions on rights, and ensure that these measures are subject to independent oversight and review.

5. Engage in meaningful dialogue with civil society organizations, human rights defenders, and other stakeholders to ensure that the voices of those most affected by the pandemic are heard and taken into account.

6. Commit to a post-pandemic recovery that prioritizes the protection and promotion of human rights, and that addresses the inequalities and injustices that have been exacerbated by the pandemic.

We demand that public health officials:

1. Publicly acknowledge and apologize for their role in spreading misinformation and fear during the COVID-19 pandemic.

2. Commit to providing unbiased, fact-based advice that includes diverse expert opinions and perspectives.

3. Conduct thorough investigations into the actions of public health officials and institutions during the pandemic.

4. Take proactive measures to rebuild public trust by promoting transparency and accountability in their advice.

5. Never recommend or support lockdowns or the forced administration of any medicine or medical treatment.

We demand that pharmaceutical companies:

1. Publicly acknowledge and apologize for their role in spreading misinformation and fear during the COVID-19 pandemic.

2. Commit to providing unbiased, fact-based information about their products and services.

3. Conduct thorough investigations into their actions and decisions during the pandemic.

4. Take proactive measures to rebuild public trust by promoting transparency and accountability in their operations.

5. Never use their power and influence to enforce vaccinations or other medical treatments as a condition for the exercise of basic human rights.

We demand that mainstream media:

1. Publicly acknowledge and apologize for their role in spreading misinformation and fear during the COVID-19 pandemic.

2. Commit to providing unbiased, fact-based reporting that includes diverse expert opinions and perspectives.

3. Conduct thorough investigative journalism into the actions of public health officials, pharmaceutical companies, and governments during the pandemic.

4. Take proactive measures to rebuild public trust by promoting transparency and accountability in their reporting.

By signing this petition, you are standing up for truth, accountability, and the responsible use of power by governments, public health officials, pharmaceutical companies, and the media. Together, we can demand better from our leaders and ensure a more informed, less fear-driven future.
