Ms.Odinga, Raila Odinga Center, was one of participants in the 2015 program for International Young Leaders Assembly. IYLA is a premier partnership-driven leadership development initiative that empowers promising young leaders to positively impact communities, nations and the World. Olduvai Gorge, or Oldupai Gorge is NOT in KENYA !! This is one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world located in TANZANIA it has proven invaluable in furthering understanding of early human evolution. A steep-sided ravine in the Great Rift Valley that stretches across East Africa, it is about 48 km (30 mi) long, and is located in the eastern Serengeti Plains in the Arusha Region not far, about 45 km, from Laetoli, another important archaeological site of early human occupation. The British/Kenyan paleoanthropologist-archeologist team Mary and Louis Leakey established and developed the excavation and research programs at Olduvai Gorge which achieved great advances of human knowledge and world-renown status. The call to action is for Ms Odinga to submit a public apology and correct the information with regards to the location of the Olduvai Gorge. We need to get 1000000 of signature and will file this petition to UK government to use their diplomatic weight for further action to demand the correct action to those attempting to mislead the world with regards to Tanzania natural resources and tourism.
